Prevent Hacking of Your PC

• There are many sites that offer you unexpectable facilities like money, interesting free services etc... Looks very nice. But these sites may have viruses, spyware, or any other malicious software that can be harmful to your system and make it possible for hacking. So install a firewall and antivirus software program and keep it active status. And make sure those programs are always running before you access the Internet. And also keep your antivirus program up to date. If you want to exit or turn off your firewall or antivirus program, disconnect it from the Internet first.




• Do not open any attachments or files in your e-mail if you do not recognize the sender. A hacker may attach some kind of harmful software as an attachment and send it around cyber space. As that way some viruses and hacking eggs spread via e-mails. Having a high quality anti virus program with a Mail Scanning System, will be the best solution to make your system vulnerable to hacking.




• Do not post your static IP address (Ex: 192.156.30.112) on the Internet or in an email. If a hacker finds your computer IP address, it’s just like giving your door keys to a thief.




• If you are using some kind of patches has designed by a third party to hack software or to use a trial version forever, it may not hack just the software but your PC also. So if you are using patches like those take the risk by your self.



• And when you are not using the Internet, either turn your computer off or disconnect it from the Internet. Specially if you are using a High Speed Internet Connection. Even change the status of your computer to 'stand-by' mode or unplug the network cable.



• Use alphanumeric passwords. (Ex: nthe14gj5)



But never think that you can completely stay away from hacking risks. But following these steps will help you to increase your Internet access security.
